Chop Chop Food Festival
What was it about?
50 talented young chefs (18-30 years old) from eight different countries have been practicing their skills in many cooking challenges, and they presented the “Main Dish” – a vibrant food festival planned, created, and executed entirely by them!
Thanks to the promotion of the festival in the local newspaper and on different social media platforms, this festival exceeded our expectations in terms of number of guests!
We have counted a total of 59 guests, people who live in Ommen or travelled from different parts of the Netherlands to join us for a celebration of various cultures and traditions!
The entire event was a success: so much delicious food, games and interactive sessions! 50 young chefs prepared everything from atmosphere to logistics, foods, music and activities.
