Training

From September 2 to 4, 2024, along with our partners, we hosted an intensive Sociocracy 3.0 Training in Brașov, Romania.
This training was part of the our project, aiming at supporting organizations to enhance organizational effectiveness, improve decision-making, and foster collaboration.
The participants, including youth workers, facilitators, and leaders, worked through various real-life scenarios to learn how to apply Sociocracy 3.0 (S3) patterns to everyday work settings. The main focus was on building agile, responsive structures that support more inclusive, decentralized decision-making.

Driver Mapping & Patterns for Organizing Work
Participants identified key "drivers" behind organizational challenges and mapped solutions using specific S3 patterns. This helped teams clarify roles and responsibilities, promoting effective teamwork.

Role Selection and Co-Creating Proposals
Teams learned how to effectively select individuals for roles based on consent and skills, creating a transparent and inclusive process. Collaborative proposal-making was also practiced, encouraging diverse input and rapid feedback.

Governance and Decision-Making
The training focused on governance structures that encourage equal participation in decision-making, with teams practicing governance and consent-based decisions using real-world scenarios.

Final Reflections
On the last day, participants reflected on how they could apply these patterns to their daily work and organizations. Ideas for future collaboration were also discussed.
