Breekjaar

Breekjaar – they offer gap year programs (tussenjaar) for young people aged 16 to 24. The organization provides a supportive environment for personal development, self-discovery, and making informed choices about the future, such as career or education. Participants engage in a program of activities, workshops, and coaching to gain self-confidence, build social skills, and develop a clearer self-image and future path.

Olde Vechte Foundation

Olde Vechte Foundation – is a training institute and youth organization that has been active since 1966, focusing on leadership, development, and training. They offer a variety of open trainings in personal and professional development (such as “Event Wise,” “Choice,” “Source,” and “Training for Trainers”), often centered around systemic work and coaching skills. The foundation is also involved in international projects and hosts volunteering programs through the European Solidarity Corps (ESC).

Stichting Wonder

Stichting Wonder – is a young grassroots organisation rooted in creativity and togetherness. They create spaces where people can grow, connect, learn from each other, and feel at home through playful and creative workshops. Their work is about community building and they do this by using movement, voice, storytelling, and art to bring people from different backgrounds together and encourage a sense of belonging, curiosity, and wonder.

Dar Al Yasmin

Dar Al Yasmin – is a local non-profit organisation that brings people together through culture, language, and creativity. They organise activities for newcomers and asylum seekers in the procedure. Through their work, they support asylum seekers find ways to feel at home and stay connected while going through the long and sometimes uncertain legal process.

De Voorkamer

De Voorkamer – is a social center dedicated to bringing cultures together. It serves as a platform for creativity and talent, aiming to connect people from different backgrounds to build a community. It offers a safer place for new experiences and organizes various events, such as a Dutch Language Café, community open hours, and artistic projects.

Utrecht International Center

Utrecht International Center (formerly the International Welcome Centre Utrecht Region) is the central hub for internationals living, working, or studying in Utrecht. Initiated by the Province of Utrecht, Utrecht and Amersfoort municipalities, and Utrecht University, it helps newcomers with residence permits, municipal registration, and practical English-language information on housing, healthcare, education, and local culture.

European Lead by Nature Network

We are also part of The European Lead by Nature Network (ELNN), a Civil Society Cooperation in the field of Youth, funded by the European Union (through Erasmus+ and the European Solidarity Corps). Its core purpose is to grow European leaders together, inspired by nature.

The network focuses on: 

  • supporting youth to be authentic, accountable, reliable, and prepared to bring sustainable change to their communities.
  • facilitating cooperation between EU and international youth organizations.
  • promoting inclusion, innovation in non-formal education, and raising awareness of European opportunities like Erasmus+
  • encouraging youth to create a more sustainable future by promoting environmental education and policy advocacy.
