Through the Colours of the Oppressed - Report

The goal of the “Through the Colours of the Oppressed” project was to equip youth workers part of our 11 partner organizations with effective tools and methods to support marginalized young
people, especially those facing social exclusion or having fewer opportunities in life.

We offered a deeper understanding of Theatre of the Oppressed methodology, to facilitate a safe, inclusive and creative space for young people to express themselves, address their challenges and become more active members of their communities.

Through the Colours of the Oppressed - Booklet | Workshop ideas

This booklet contains Theatre of The Oppressed philosophy and 11 local workshops created part of ‘Through the Colours of the Oppressed” project. The project aimed at supporting youth workers and educators across Europe on how to use Theater of the Oppressed (T.O.) methodology to promote social inclusion. It covers the outcomes and experiences from different countries, showing how these workshops helped communities explore and express social issues through theater. With practical examples, reflections, and impact stories, this booklet captures the transformative journey of using T.O. to inspire change.

Broad Perspectives - Doodle Kit | animated Tools

Broad Pespectives is a seminar for young professionals and youth organizations that aimed to promote the exchange of various practices, know-how and tools for conflict resolution. It aimed to refine conflict prevention and resolution methods within the realm of youth work.

Youth workers from 11 diverse countries met and shared knowledge while acquiring new tools and methods to effectively address conflict management.

Their efforts resulted in the following Video Guideline that contains a range of tools applicable not only to young individuals but also to other target groups, encouraging support on both individual and community levels.

JOIN Report

We generated a short report as a summary of Join seminar, to see what is the impact that the organizations and professionals brought in their work and community.
This report captures the project’s efforts to promote inclusive youth work practices across Europe. It highlights the transformative impact of the seminar through testimonials and survey results, underscoring the project’s success in facilitating knowledge exchange, fostering partnerships, and creating a lasting influence on inclusive youth work across different European communities.

JOIN Guideline | Tools & Exercises

This guideline presents methods of work from different NGO’s around Europe and a series of workshops and exercises aimed at promoting inclusion, equality, and well-being among participants. The workshops are described and aligned with EU Youth goals and are constructed for young people with a marginalized background, as well for young professionals. The material can serve as a source of inspiration for other mobilities, projects and initiatives. Moreover, the Guideline contains tips of best practices, as well as tools of inclusion which can support both organizations and communities in being more inclusive in decision-making and organizational policies.

Next Stop: Coaching Coaching Tools

The Next Stop Coaching project aimed to enhance coaching and mentoring skills for youth workers to better assist young people facing fewer opportunities. Professionals from 10 diverse countries met and shared knowledge while acquiring new tools and methods in coaching and mentoring. Their efforts resulted in a Video Guideline that contains a range of tools applicable not only to young individuals but also to other target groups, encouraging support on both individual and community levels.
